Time for a change of perspective? A summer holiday at Studio GIGGI Tenne is all about the mountain; the mountain with its almost endless possibilities for being active, discovering and enjoying. Centrally located, guests can find their way up the mountain and into adventure in no time at all from Studio GIGGI Tenne. Bikers in particular benefit from the proximity to the Giggijoch valley station and the existing infrastructure - Bike In & Bike Out is the programme here. Hikers can also start their tours as they please from the studio or comfortably reach their destination by cable car or hiking bus.

Biking in the Bike Republic Sölden
Really wicked
Bike Republic Sölden is probably the most flowing two-wheeler nation in the Alps. Mountain and enduro bikers can expect an extensive and professionally maintained trail network with currently 12 lines ranging from challenging to flowing as well as 17 natural trails. In total, over 90 kilometres of lines and trails are available, supplemented by designated mountain bike routes and enduro trails. The trails are designed in such a way that they can be accessed with the support of the mountain railway, including bike transport, as well as using your own muscle power. Two pump tracks are available in the valley for rolling in and technique training, and experienced bike guides accompany beginners and advanced riders safely through the terrain. This makes every ride in the Bike Republic a controlled and enjoyable experience. Suitable bikes and protective equipment are available from the local sports hire shops.
Bike In & Bike Out is a way of life at Studio GIGGI Tenne: you can access the trail fun right on the doorstep, as the Giggijochbahn valley station is right next to the accommodation. The return journey is easy via the Lettn Line. As certified bike & cycle accommodation, Studio GIGGI Tenne offers a lockable bike storage room, washing facilities for bikes and bike clothing as well as a bike stand and repair tools.

Hiking holiday in Sölden
Really walkable
Mountains at last - where the air is thinner, the views are better and life is more beautiful. From the valley floor right up to the mountain peaks, Sölden has over 300 kilometres of marked mountain and hiking trails of all levels of difficulty as well as around 30 huts and snack stations to stop off at and enjoy (the view). Thanks to the summer operation of the mountain lifts, even the most impressive three-thousand metre peaks are within reach. Ambitious summit tours, extensive themed or panoramic routes and culinary alpine hikes can be started directly from Studio GIGGI Tenne. Or you can take the nearby Giggijochbahn cable car for the first mountain stage and thus over 900 metres in altitude. Other starting points and hiking areas in Ötztal are easily reached by hiking bus.
Summer activities in Ötztal
Really worth seeing
See mountains, experience adventures and discover the Ötztal with all its facets. Anyone who thinks there's only something going on in the mountains is mistaken. There is also plenty on offer for guests in the valley in summer. On hot days you can go to the lake, the outdoor pool or the thermal spa. Really refreshing! The Piburger See above Ötz and the Tirol Therme Aqua Dome in Längenfeld are absolutely worth experiencing. In bad weather or after an active day on the mountain, head to the adventure pool with wellness centre in the Freizeit Arena Sölden. Cultural and sightseeing attractions: Crosspoint motorbike museum at the Timmelsjoch toll station, James Bond Museum 007 Elements on the Gaislachkogel or Tyrol's largest waterfall, the Stuibenfall in Umhausen. At AREA 47 at the entrance to the Ötztal valley, there is action in the air and on the water: high ropes course, rafting, canyoning, wakeboarding and much more.
